The problem
A calorie app. A routine tracker. A sleep app. A Screen Time report you swipe away. Four subscriptions, four sets of numbers — and still, at 11pm, the honest answer to "was today a good day?" is a shrug.
GoL replaces all four and gives you one number for the day.
Today
Every GoL you set — steps, protein, lights out, time off your phone — rolls into a single score out of 100. Watch it move in real time, and see the week stack up underneath it.
Fuel
Photograph the plate and the macros land in seconds. Then the number almost no app shows you cleanly: what you've eaten against what you've actually burned — active and resting — updating all day.
OR-Alternatives
Give one GoL alternatives — run OR bike OR lift — so the best completed option counts toward your day. A personal streak still requires a 100-point day.
Daily Wrap
At bedtime GoL closes the book: your score, what you won, what you left on the table, and the one thing to start with tomorrow. Not a guilt notification — a scoreboard.
Groups
Every private group gets its own shared board — a run club, a family, or friends working toward a common GoL. Members see group results without seeing each other's personal GoLs or health records.
Stakes
For groups that want extra accountability: agree on a stake for missed requirements and let GoL keep the tally. Any settlement happens outside GoL; the app does not collect money or pay prizes.
The price
The most popular calorie app charges $79.99 a year — and moved its barcode scanner behind the paywall. Here's the same comparison, side by side.
Competitor pricing and feature availability as published on the App Store, August 2026. Plans change — check before you switch.
Or $4.99 monthly if you'd rather. It's priced low on purpose — a health app you cancel in month two is worth nothing to either of us.
Before you ask
Not yet. GoL is iOS first — the Apple Health integration is most of what makes the tracking automatic, and doing that properly took priority over shipping everywhere at once.
No. Supported steps and workouts sync from Apple Health, and Screen Time uses a separate permission. You can describe a meal, add an optional photo, or log it manually.
You get the score you earned and you move on. Measurable GoLs can award partial credit, while a personal streak requires a 100-point day.
Not in the App Store subscription sense. The app is free to download and you can explore the tracking features on your first day. After that, GoL Pro is available monthly or annually; the app shows your regional price before purchase.
For many people: a calorie tracker, a routine app and a Screen Time tool. Whether it replaces your training log depends on how detailed that log is.
